Coming together from all corners of the world such as Italy, The
Philippines, the UK, South Africa as well as Western Australia. The
Bambuseae Rhythm Section (pronounced Bam-Boo-See-Ay)
combine their musical influences and cultural backgrounds to
deliver a robust elemental fusion of original Rhythm & Blues, Funk,
Soul and Worldly Psychedelia. Wild and free one moment, soft and
sensual the next. The music is groove based and designed for
dancing your worries into oblivion.
Hailing from Fremantle, WA. Armed with their motto "The People
Must Dance” this upbeat and engaging live act have stirred up their
local scene, and in just over 12 months have performed at some of
WA’s premier events such as the Optus Stadium Open Day ’18,
Falls Festival ’18, Fairbridge Festival ’17, RTRFM’s Winter Music
Festival, Hidden Treasures Festival, RTRFM’s live broadcast of The
Courtyard Sessions ’17, Fremantle Folk Festival ‘17 & WAMfest ’17.
As well as having performed alongside some of WA’s leading acts
such as The Pigram Brothers, The Sunshine Brothers, Grace
Barbè, Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse, Randa & The Soul Kingdom,
Andrew Winton and many more.
Having released their debut 6 track Ep entitled ‘Shake!’ in October
2017 at The Odd Fellow in Fremantle, this vivacious 7 piece are set
to spread the good times with a string of hot shows around WA this
Summer to get everybody dancing to the Bambusean beat.
